URGENT: Instructions on renewing financial assistance

This post concerns all those who wish to renew financial assistance for 2010.

You will fall into either one of these 2 categories
1) MOE FAS + Hard Times Ahead Fund
2) NJC Alumni Bursury
Ms Sharon Phua only called for the MOE FAS to renew their cases, but I think all 3 schemes need to be renewed.

At the moment now instructions are not very clear (and neither Ms Sharon Phua nor Mr Deli Lye is in school for me to ask them), but since the deadline is today, we should just try to get this done ASAP.

To renew your financial assistance, you need to REAPPLY for them. I have placed 3 stacks of forms in my letter tray (MOE FAS, Hard Times Ahead Fund, NJC Alumni Bursury) in my letter tray. Only take those that you qualify to apply for. If my letter tray has ran out of forms, you can approach General Office to take forms from there. Note that if you are an MOE FAS case, you should apply for BOTH FAS as well as Hard Times Ahead.

Step 1) Take respective Financial Assistance form from my letter tray (or from GO).
Step 2) Fill up the form INCLUDING parent's signature.
Step 3) Pass the form to me. (Contact me to pass it to me outside school, or leave in my letter tray and then SMS me)

Do NOT hand in the form to office, since they have been told not to accept the form from you. I need to fill in the Civics Tutor comments anyway.

If your family income has changed and hence your eligibility status for financial assistance has been affected, the best person to clarify this with is Mr Deli Lye in the GO.

Do this ASAP, since we have actually passed the deadline for the FAS already (for the month of January).
